There's a new book, Lost in Transplantation, by Eldonna Edwards, the kidney donor who eventually started a nondirected donor chain, and who was the subject of the movie Perfect Strangers, that I blogged about here. Here's an interview with Ms. Edwards.
The movie was uplifting about the positive experience of being a donor, and so my guess is that (despite the ambiguous title) the book will be too.
